My truck has a few stripped out interior trim screws from the previous owner. I'm looking for suggestions on a universal interior trim screw kit. I've seen several on EBay, but I'm curious to see what others are using.
With judicous use of a hammer and punch on the metal around the holes, I've been able to close them up enough for the original screws to work.
I've also learned the hard way to NOT use a screw gun or impact driver to tighten interior screws...stripped holes and cracked plastic. Need to use an old fashioned hand driver for these old trucks.
That is an excellent idea. I'll have to try that. I just wish a few of the original screws weren't missing. I completely agree about only using hand tools on them.

I had to resort to that method on a few of mine, works good.
When I got my truck it was missing over a dozen interior screws. It creaked and rattled like a junker. Ford didn't have any so I went to the junk yard. Once I got replacements from the junk yard it tightened everything up. No more squeaks and rattles.
