Charging ATV Battery?

It points to the east, which is bad for solar charging but I'm happy to have the whole trailer sheltered from the mid-day and afternoon sun. I'm only going to get direct sun in the mornings. Nevertheless, I was amazed to see it light up and indicate it was charging even with pretty overcast skies this morning. We shall see with time, but if it helps, I'll be thrilled.
