May be time consuming, with a mini screw driver, tweezers, or something similar it's possible to remove the old pins from the connector rather than splice, just make sure to note wire code position from the original, or purchase a new connector?
The metal ends that can be released from the plastic connectors are called "Molex pins". I am not one for tedious work so I got these two sizes of tools that release the pins easily. The tip is hollow and passes over the pin to the base where it releases the tiny tabs and the tool is spring loaded so as you push it down an inner piece contacts the pin and pushes it out.
Great I will check the links for the part. Does the new switch come without the harness? I do not want to splice anything on the truck so I would be up for the challenge of the tedious molex pins and change just the connecter.
Any idea if the internal horn button brush is identical to the one under the button?
Hey guys following this post. Want to put my dilemma out there.
Horn inoperative and turn signal switch not shutting off with the wheel.
Hold the phone. You mean my '65 turn signal should go off after the turn is complete?? I had no idea, this whole time I'm trying to remember to manually put it back into position. I was ready to start looking for a louder flasher so I could hear it over the sound of the motor!!

Now I'm embaressed... . I've drooled over these trucks for years, only owned one for six months. Genuine question, should it or should it not go off after turn is complete???
They are supposed to click off, but if the plastic piece is broken, there's nothing to trip the switch. Mine works fine for a right turn, but not the left. Just not enough of an issue for me to worry about right now. I thought you were making a joke, that sounded like something sarcastic that I would say.
Thanks for clearing that up. My truck is the oldest vehicle I've ever owned. It never turned off so I just assumed that wasn't a thing back then. Now it must be fixed....
Pretty simple thing that would not bother some but my OCD kicked in and I started dismantling. So I agree, a must fix because I just can't stand something that doesn't work.
Lots of iffy/aftermarket options from what I researched even down to just replacing the cam piece. Luckily the OEM was found through one of the Ford gooroo's search and info! Thanks again TA!
I think Green Sales Company at (513)294-8385 has 1 switch left
C3TZ13341A has changed to C3TZ13341B counter guy was not going to cross the number until I asked if the number could have changed?? He found it and think quoted the switch at around $80.
