2011 question

I was looking to buy a 2011 f150 5.0L .It is in great condition but the guy drove far to work everyday on highway and racked up 214000 klms.It is 2wd but i can get it for 10 grand certified and etest (in canada).Any thoughts whether its crazy buy with the mileage?Body is amazing but concerned about the engine with the Ks.Thanks for any feedback I dont know anything about the 5.0L im used to the 4.6L.

That's 132,973 US miles. For 10K, get it.

I agree, 132k is nothing if it's been maintained, and it sounds like it has. I put 200k on my 2001 4.2 V6, and it was still a nice pickup when we sold it and updated.

Yeah that's nothing for the 5.0. My buddy has well over 200,000 miles on his and it runs like brand new.

Sounds like a good deal to me, are they offering it with any kind of warranty?

That's a lot of miles in a short period of time, what does he do for work?

It's a two owner truck. First owner put 200,000 on it between 2012 and early 2016. He was a contractor or something, and drove all over the southeast. My buddy picked it up used and now sits at 212,000.

I thought my truck had a lot...I'm at 108,000 at the end of this coming week on my '13 but my buddy's truck has mine whipped.

2011 F150 5.0L 2WD Lariat Super Crew: MSRP: $39,990.00 (SoCal).

Lariat Plus package, Heated and Cooled Leather Seating surfaces, 7700 lbs. GVW package.

In 2011, the 5.0L and the tow package were standard equipment in the 2WD Lariat (dunno about 4WD), the 3.5L Eco-Boost was optional.

The 2015 version is about 5 grand more! So I got an XLT instead.

warranty is over due to mileage , its private seller .He drives approx 60 miles to work everyday highway. He now has a company truck to use and is paying insurance to leave in his driveway.
I read about the engine tick or tapping these 5.0 can have , when i listen to engine i think i can hear a slight tick on top or its just in my head lol.should i be worried ?
