Looks great, since those are the single use bolts might as well coat them. Looks every bit as good as the Ford applied coating but I don't know how well the Ford coating holds up, I know the Line X does.
I know how line X works.... But I just Installed ford bed mat to cover those bolts are to bulky ....The bed mat makes the bed nice and and says super duty.
Looks great! Mine is going in soon and I am torn on removing the bolts. I was unaware they were single use. I also saw another post on here where they pulled them and the bed is now crooked. I am leaning towards leaving them in at this point. Has anyone just taped the heads off with success or is removal or spray over the only two options?
It looks like they did a REALLY nice job on yours! I hope mine comes out this nice.

LineX dealer would do mine either way. His argument to remove the bolts is two fold. One is the tape line is a natural place for water infiltration under the liner. Of course it is guaranteed but who wants to go back? Second is for those who use the truck, sliding objects in and out of the bed will sometimes open up the liner on the head of the bolt since it sticks up and the bond to the galvanizing is not as strong as it is to the prepared painted surfaces. Mostly seems to really be a personal choice. I had mine removed.
I love my Ford bed mat. I'm looking into spray liner in the spring. My guy does QuikLiner, just like factory but thicker and fade resistant. Plus way cheaper than LineX or Factory option price.
Is line x (aftermarket) or ford spray-in bedliner the better choice and why? I know the Ford spray has the Ford logo which is no big deal. What about quality and warranty?
I am going Line X when my '17 comes in. The factory is very slick and things will slide easy and to me probably won't be as durable. My local Line X had a special for the Premium Line X for $525 which they will honor for me when my truck comes in in a few months. A few dollars more than factory and better quality IMO.
