Need advice
I recently bought a 2008 f250 5.4l off of my dad.the timing chain started slapping so he replaced it the cam phasers and the tcv. It would start and idle nice vut when he drove it and came to a stop it would start running rough. The codes pointed toward the cam phasers. Now it is showing multiple codes such as cps tps cylinder misfires and it dies while driving in town but it just cuts out while your driving on the highway. We replaced tps and it still showed a code. We thought with all the codes that maybe something was shorting out but a local mechanic said he thinks we got metal shavings in the cam journals and causing loss of oil pressure to the phasers. Oil pressure seems fine but he said it wouldnt take much...any thoughts on what might be the problem?
