So here I am driving an '87 Standard cab 300cid, T-18. Hips and knee getting progressively stiffer with winter weather (faster than clutch and P.S.).
Go outside to change plugs in it ('87)................"Profanity Removeddid this RED TRUCK come from...('93)." and "where is MY ('87) truck". Other 1/2 comes walking out with a look on her face that I swear was caused by the dog passing gas. Hands me keys and says "If you don't want it I can always take it back!".......That's like telling a sailor coming off a cruise that he can't have any nookie because it's free. LIKE HELL!!
And she paid CASH! YES!!!! Nothing like a clear Title! So I get to sell the '87 for what I can get for it and put into Class IV hitch, tint on windows, Windshield Visor, Extra cooler for E4OD, Maybe transcommand or equiv.
If everyone had a wife like yours the world would be a better place. Hell I had to have someone hit my truck and screw up the suspension before I could convince my ex that a susp. lift was a GOOD thing, well at least paid for by insurance. My wife now is as much of a woman as they come, but man how she loves trucks and mods for them, so now my Eddie Bauer looks great and is gettin better. That and her new Sport-trac is coming a long way from stock....a long long way. Congrats and Merry Christmas.......you have a great woman too.
Larry , Im sure you were excited about your new truck but you kinda half to watch what you type , Kids can get in here & read the posts & there are a couple of words & abbreviations that you used that arent appropiate for a PG 13 forum . Ken doesnt care for people bypassing the language filters . Just keep an eye on that in the future . Happy Holidays . :-X12
