Were you able to relocate the Bedstep closer to the fender? Pics if you can please.
Can you tell us where you found it? Amp had also given me the part number last week, but can't find any online dealers with the part. Checked with a local shop, they don't seem to be able to get it, either. When I asked Amp where I could find it because no one had it online and my local dealer couldn't order it, they told me to check with online retailers or my local dealer--duh. Couldn't have asked for a more useless response.
I spoke to AMP about them last Thursday the 22nd and I was told they are not available yet but should be ready by the end of Jan. Don't quote me on this but I believe they needed to change the mounting hardware to be more friendly with the aluminum body. I figured it would attach to the steel frame and thus would not need any modification from the 2016 model but apparently thats not the case,
When I spoke with AMP on 12/22 I was told it was available, and they gave me part #75413-01A. They said it should be available through their distributors. Have you tried calling and speaking with one of the on-line sites, such as AutoAnything? I've been checking, and I know I can't find it listed on-line, but I thought maybe websites just hadn't been updated. I still don't think it's going to do what I need, so I hadn't followed up with any phone calls.
If anyone comes up with a modification that would put it close to the wheel well for access to 5th wheel and gooseneck attachment, I believe many would be interested. AMP ought to come up with a new mount that would allow it. Next to the cab is fairly useless in my experience.
Ok, so my local dealer was finally able to get one and installed it for me today. I was really impressed with how it worked out. I was concerned that it might stick out too far when folded up ( I like the clean look of the truck with my power boards folded up). It turned out not to be an issue for me. It's very sturdy when you step on it--feels solid.
I took a few pics so you can see how it looks on a short bed.

I installed mine 2 weeks ago, its kind of useless because I have a tool box and aux-tank and wanted it to get to my fifth wheel hitch, I going to make a modified bracket after new years to move closer to the dually fender, I will share pictures when I have it figured out.
