I installed mine 2 weeks ago, its kind of useless because I have a tool box and aux-tank and wanted it to get to my fifth wheel hitch, I going to make a modified bracket after new years to move closer to the dually fender, I will share pictures when I have it figured out.

Is your truck a 2017 DRW?
I had the Bully step that was not listed as fitting DRW's.
I put two of them on and they worked with just a little bit of modification. I had to cut one of the plastic hose supports that are under the fender.
But my bubble fenders allow a little more room forward of the fender then the 2017 style.
OK, I see you have a 2017 F-450, so your install has my interest.
Did you use this part number?

Thanks guys. It may work for me. I ordered a F350 SRW short box. It looks like I should be able to reach my hitch based on what I see in the pictures. If not I guess I'll carry a small ladder.
If anyone comes up with a modification that would put it close to the wheel well for access to 5th wheel and gooseneck attachment, I believe many would be interested. AMP ought to come up with a new mount that would allow it. Next to the cab is fairly useless in my experience.
Even without the hitch, next to the cab with a tool box or fuel tank in the front is not as much help as it could be closer to the wheel.
The bully steps I have mount to the bed supports, so you are limited to where they attach.
Can the user with the step installed take a picture of the mount?
Can someone who has installed this on their 17 crew cab, snap a picture of the underside where you installed to give a visual of what needs to be done?
Joelariat, it looks like your step is centered on the bracket. Mine is clearly offset. The instructions show 2 different offset options depending on the side of the truck that it is installed, so that the step is offset toward the rear of the truck. Just wondering about the difference here?

I will have to ckeck on that, it looks like the step it self can be moved over to one side. But that still is not going to help me get to my fifthwheel any better. I already have the steel ready to weld up when i have the time to finish it in a week or so.
Thanks for info.
Agreed that it won't help much, but seems to me that it makes the step a little easier to use since you can get your foot all the way on the step easily without hitting the bracket behind the step.
