1999 Ford Expo EB with the DIGITAL AUTOMATIC CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT blower won't work because i am a dumb ***, this happen while i was trying to figure out why my signal was not working a while back.me not thinking right i switch the relays around in the relay "flasher/blower block" and it never worked after that, it still lights up and i can see it display the setting that i put it on on the screen.Signals/flasher are still working great.also iv tired 5 other knowed to be good relays for the blower relay still nothing.
What are the steps needed to check to see what my dumb *** messed up
There is an area (back-center) of the pc board inside of the climate control unit that burns when the output to the relay is overload. Remove and open the unit to inspect it for this burnt area.
I got the unit out, took top cover off and iv looked pretty hard don't see no burnt spots and it does not smell burnt but here's a pic maybe you could spot it or edit the pic with a circle so i know right were to look
Plug it back in and turn the system on with the blower on high. On connector C280 back probe pin 16 with a red meter lead and pin 17 with the black one. As you turn the blower to high and off, to high and off, etc. the meter should go from 0-12 volts and back again. If it does we'll have to track down an issue in the vehicle. If it does not read voltage then the ETAC unit is bad. See the attached PDF for the relevant wiring diagram and connector pinouts.
The blower speed control **** / HI/LOW will work the rear heater/ac blower does that mean the unit can still be bad ? i am having hard time understanding diagram since that looks different then what i got pins are not in same place neither is the numbers on the back off my unit. but am great at messing stuff up cause now there are two lights out on my unit uggggg
did a test but i am sure i did the wrong pins and it's really hard to hold the probes in and work the know at same time red probe was on a purple and the black probe was on a orange

That's weird because that is the diagram for a 1999 right out of the factory service manual.
I am not AT ALL saying you put the wrong diagram PLEASE don't think that.Like i said i have hard time with reading diagrams.Something just does not add up.i am sure it's not as hard as it seems for me but i must be doing/looking at something wrong.

Relax I wasn't thinking that at all. I just said it was weird. It's also not the first time I've had a diagram not match a vehicle when it should have.
The shape of the connectors seems to match what I posted, its just the wire colors that seem different.
After viewing and studying those diagrams the color of the wires are orange and a white wire with tracer color. The pic i edit with the 16 and 17 , 16 was not the right pin it's right beside 17 but i did test the wires with the truck running turning the **** up and down turning the unit on of and i couldn't get no reading to show on the meter with those two pins

IT'S WORKING NOW
Went to the local you pull it yard today out of 6 Expo's 2 had the turn **** units and the other 4 were already pulled. There was only 1 Lincoln Navigator and it had the one i needed thank god. got home plugged it in and now the blower blows again everything works like it was except 2 of the lights which i am not worried about at this time.
Happy that that's all it was think 10 dollars was a good deal for my own mistake
