Contacting FORD

Does anybody know how I can contact anyone higher than the Southeast Ford rep. My truck has been built since October 4th I have had 5 delivery dates and when I contact Ford customer service I am told it is in production, or at the body shop.
They have also mentioned it would be on a rail Dec 3, but now they say it is at the body shop in Kentucky. This is getting pretty frustrating!

My truck was built 12-03-16, Chat people tell me it's awaiting shipment, One would think as many Ford trucks that that are shipped to Texas getting a full rail car wouldn't be a problem.

I wrote (a real letter, polite and concise) to the director of customer service in Dearborn, MI about 3 months before my last ETA. (You can find her through Google). This got me a nice letter in return and a phone call weekly from a Customer Care Representative all the way up until yesterday when the truck was delivered to the dealership exactly on the last ETA which was last extended 3 weeks ago. The only thing changed by that letter and 3 case numbers through regular customer reps was the number of phone calls I got making sure I knew at what point the build was, similar to what I was receiving from both the dealers rep and from chat. The only benefit was it made me feel like I was encouraging the process. In fact, everything stayed the same.

Well almost, finally. It is at LineX today and the dealer will start the in-service and tire swap when it gets back. Maybe tomorrow afternoon to pick it up!! WhooHoo. I did get 15 miles seat time on the road yesterday fresh off the transport. Seems small inside and big outside. Just first impression compared to my current ride. Those who have been in the later years of the previous generation won't feel that but my '01 has a completely different interior feel, much more open and roomy.

So thanks for the shout Ryan, yes it has been in my hands for a little while at least.

youre welcome! It's just nice to log in and browse the forum and finally see you're in possession, I had some serious third party depression for ya! What was the build date of the truck (you prob said it somewhere) ?

Built 14NOV16 and delivered 12DEC16. Sat a week and a half not 70 miles from the dealer until trucker (Jack Cooper M/L) felt like bringing it down. Ford and the dealer had both put the truck on priority shipping which actually means to the trucker "by the ETA," no later and definitely not sooner! But oh well, its in the neighborhood (10 miles) now!!

The most prevalent answer from all directions at Ford/Dealer/Chat/Customer Service/Regional Rep: "We are experiencing commodity restraints on certain items as they apply to some vehicles. Ford Motor Company is doing everything in its power to relieve these constraints in order to deliver your vehicle in a timely fashion and at the high quality level you expect in your new vehicle...." Eventually the corporate customer service answered, almost, my complaint about the many early orders seemingly shelved while new orders were rolling down the line "We understand there have been some scheduling issues and we are doing our best to alleviate these problems in the future." So the reasons given for delays are all taken from the same book of excuses and reasons, canned answers for problems not properly addressed at the project managers level. I may not be exactly correct but until someone proves me wrong that is my theory and I am sticking to it.
