Front Wheel Well Liners

For those of you who have installed them I have a couple questions.

1. Do these come with hardware like the rears do?
2. If not, do you install them over the top of the felt liners using the old fasteners.

My dealer today had one guy working the parts counter. To say he was multi tasking is an understatement.

When I went to buy the rear liners they were in stock. I came in and asked for them and they handed me 2 liners that had the hardware attached to them. Easy as could be.

These were a different all together. One side was $96 and the other was $98, neither of which came with hardware. I was having a hard time getting any info from him as he was mumbling under his breath about where the hell his help was. After him tapping on the keyboard for 10 minutes trying to find the hardware to attach them I told him to forget about it and I would get them later. It was also in the back of my mind that while he was worrying about where his help was, he was also not paying attention and possibly not ordering me the correct parts.

Any info is appreciated for those that have purchased and added them.

Sounds like the parts guy was looking up the inner fender wells. I've never heard of an additional add-on front fender liner.

I've been wrong before though...

Hardware is included with both the front and rear liners, they are sold in pairs.
the front ones go over factory fabric liners.
i highly reccamend both, especially if you are in mud occasionally.

That is what I thought. I am going to go back and see if I can get a different guy who isn't so frustrated to order me a set. I was afraid this guy was ordering the wrong ones.

I found the fronts on ebay from Fairway Ford with free shipping for the same price as Ford Accessories which will ship to my dealer for free as well, but I have to pay sales tax. I will get them from the dealer in a couple of days. Since they still have the truck maybe they will be nice and install them during setup. The rears I ordered from the factory and they are on the truck where they belong.

That is the correct number for the fronts even though the picture shows the rear of the truck. Funny the installation was $28 last night and is $60 today. Inflation at its' finest!!

wheel house panel

Thats what ford calls it. They are very easy to install yes they cover felt. I put mine on today, It took a about 45 minutes for because i cleaned felt by Vacuum before installing. You loosen all 5.5mm bolts and remove one torque number 30 screw. Then slide in. Then re install torque screw and tighten then repeat. part #HCS3Z99278868 Panel wheel house rear are HC3Z16F099A
I really Don't understand why ford makes you Buy them seperate for a 77,000 dollar truck

When you say both, do you mean these after market liners over the factory liners? Or both front and rear.

Well, I took the part number down to my Ford dealer today and was able to get them ordered. The full part number did not compute with them, but the 11640 part of the part number did.

Idk, regardless, I will have them tomorrow.

Thank you for all the replies to this thread. I will add any additional info I have when they arrive tomorrow.

Hope to see some photos of these. I'm guessing the rear ones aren't compatible with a dually but what about the front? Should be the same?
