Knuckle Seal Tool
I know a lot of people use a homemade too to set the seal on the axle but how do you install the axle in the knuckle to the proper depth? The OTC tool does both.

Push it into the knuckle , if it's too far then pry it out when you install the unit bearing and install the washer plastic nut and retaining clip. too far out and the unit bearing will pull it in as you tighten the nuts . I tried the homemade tool and had zero luck so I just bought the install tool from amazon five years ago when they were on sale for like 20 bucks
