Bed Extender

Hi all,
I searched, and got way too many crazy threads to find anything useful. Has anyone installed a more modern bed extender on to our year trucks? I am interested more for grocery sacks and the like at the back end of the truck. If you have, what year did was your donor truck, hints, tips etc etc Thanks!

What I did was get the load separator from Home Depot and plumbing taped a 2 x 10 or 12 plank cut accordingly. It fits just under the bed rail.

Yeah I meant flare side lol, great looking truck. the beds are hard to come by the guy wants 1,000 he said the only thing wrong with it. The fender has the spare tire cut out.
