Hi All,
A Ford truck was my first vehicle when I started driving at age 18 and loved them ever since. My first was a 1978 F-150 short bed straight six 4X4 that I offroaded for a while then rebuilt and put in a 400M with 38" tires and not long after that the truck was stolen so I bought another one and installed a 429 SCJ and 42" tires with 1 ton axles and raced mud boggs. I am starting to rebuild a 69' Bronco another truck I love and am in the process of swapping a 4.9L into a 97' F-350 4X4. I am a machinist / maintenance manager by trade and love working on my vehicles in my spare time which there is not a lot of these days. The internet and forums like this are such a great resource to have nowadays a lot better than the old Chilton's manuals but they did the trick most if the time back in the day. Look forward to the help offered as I try to resurrect these old trucks back to being useful daily drivers.
