EGT Probe Problem

EGT Probe Problem
I got an Edge CTS2 with their EGT probe that I installed on the drivers side exhaust manifold (been running about 6 months with no problems) and just recently noticed odd temps after I "let her breathe" one night and pushing her hard. Truck runs fine and no issues otherwise, but the probe itself acts like it's leaking air.
I noticed on idle, it tells me exhaust temp is about 100, when I drove normal and easy, temps get up to almost normal rang of 400, when I accelerate normally it will get to 600, but when I accelerate harder with some boost it will drop back down to 200 during acceleration then back up when I let off.
I took the probe out and cleaned it, noticed that the compression ring around the base of the probe appeared worn some, but put it back in and tighten it up, but still no luck...
Has anyone had to change out their EGT probe?
