Yes an update....also you are only seeing ad across the bottom?
The mobile ads have been a recent problem, but they're so sporadic it's almost impossible to track down the offending ad partner as it's just "leftover" space sold and have very short shelf-life. By the time we get the reports of it happening and our biz-dev teams reach out to the partners and they run an audit, they're gone and something else is triggering another bad ad....
Given the small amount of affected users and sheer quantity of servers used by the advertisers that IB uses, like you said it may be near impossible to figure out where the original injection is occurring (FWIW the ipojob URL looks to be dead now).
I did receive another of the redirects (both occurred while loading the homepage, not sure if you all use specific networks for specific areas of the site) and grabbed the specific URL loaded before the redirect occurred. I plan to wipe my old Nexus, go to the URL, and see if the injection occurs then. If so, I will try and trace the origin IP of the URL, hopefully allowing a closer look at where these scripts are coming from.
I do fear that even if we are able to locate the specific server that is doing the injections, it may be futile. JavaScript injections are gaining popularity fast in the ad (and malware) world it seems.
Hey, Charlie, do you have any additional information on this? With an IP address, there's a chance it'd be easier for the IB guys to at least identify the ad partner that might be misbehaving (although it's strange that this issue doesn't affect more people). Do you have anything else new to report?

Thank you!!!! Most of us here - including me - are just volunteers who have no say in nor any access to the controls of the advertising, it's only the IB folks who can do that. The only thing people like me can do is try and help folks like you, try and diagnose the situation, and pass on relevant & useful information to the IB team as appropriate.
It works the same way in this forum as it does in the truck technical forums - the language used by the OP their perceived attitude plays an awfully big part in determining how/if people will respond. So thank you for the explanation & apology, it's appreciated.

I unfortunately do not, as whenever I attempt to ping the server it comes back as not reaching the server. I if I get another one, I will try it. Could be that the specific domain is only up for X amount of time (kind of like the hit-counter) to keep track-ability down. So far though, all has been well.
Had two ads yesterday on my Android mobile device. Full page, just like for the past four or five months. I would have to hit the back button to go back to the FTE site
