'75 F250 Fan Shroud

Hi Everyone, I just bought a 1975 F250 Custom with FE390 and a C6. Thought I would join the forum here as a new old Ford truck owner.

Anyway, My question is about the Fan shroud, or lack thereof to be specific. The truck doesn't have one and I've had very little luck finding the right one online because I have no part number or stamping to go by.

I have a "square" style radiator (core is 25"x25"ish) and a 17" fan. I've seen a number of websites claiming to have '75 F250 shrouds but they all look different.

I've also searched these forums but couldn't find my year/engine combo so I thought I'd post.

Question 1: Does anyone know the proper shroud?

Question 2: what is the proper opening for a 17" fan? If I knew that I could choose a shroud that matches the hole pattern and fan offset with the proper opening and call it good enough.

C7TZ-8146-B .. Fan Shroud-Use with Super Cooling Radiator only! / Marked on upper left corner: C7TA-8146-H or D2TA-8146-HA or D3TA-8146-JA / Reproduced by Carpenter.

1967 F100/350 352 / 1968/76 F100/350 360/390.
--------------------------------------------------------
D3TZ-8146-C (replaced C8TZ-8146-K) .. Fan Shroud-Use with standard/xtra cooling & A/C radiators / Marked on upper left corner: C8TA-8146-S or D3TA-8146-DA / Reproduced by Carpenter.

Will be watching this thread. I just bought a 78 and it also does not have a fan shroud. Will have to check into Carpenter.

Thanks for the info Numbers. I had seen that site but wasn't sure if those parts were the proper shroud. I'll check it out again.

Similar question,boss.

My apologies if this was covered in some other post, but have a similar question since you seem to be filled with knowledge. I have a 1975 F-250 4x4 'highboy' with a 4 speed and no A/C. Recently I put in a 'supercooling' radiator but now my old shroud, D3TA8146DA, does not fit. Now, looking online it seems, at least to me, most won't fit. I believe the steering gearbox will be in the way just like the old one is now. Anyway, I was wondering if you knew of one that could without having to get a custom one or grind off a piece of the old one.
Thank,

Thank,
The super cooling radiator is about 5" taller than the others and uses its own radiator core support. Were you replacing another super cooling radiator?

Crap! radiator.com sent me it when I told them what I needed. In fact, it looks exactly like the picture below. Just my steering gearbox is about a half inch away from it.

Recently I put in a 'super cooling' radiator, but now my old shroud marked: D3TA-8146-DA = Ford part number: D3TZ-8146-C does not fit.
This fan shroud is for a 1968/76 F100/350 360/390 with standard/xtra cooling and A/C radiators. These radiators are approx. 26 1/4" wide x 19 3/4" high.

The Super Cooling radiator is approx. 26 1/4" wide x 24 11/16" high. The Super Cooling radiator uses a different fan shroud (see post #2), and...

1973/78 F100/350 with round headlamps: There are TWO different radiator supports. The Super Cooling radiator support has a larger opening radius.
