has anyone had trouble insuring an F450? Many said I need a commercial insurance policy.

 

I told my ins agent when I was shopping it's the same weight rating as a 350. They had zero issue with it. Liberty mutual

My state Farm Mutual agent told me a F450 is $74/year more an the f350 srw.

 

Depends on the insurance company, and to some extent, how you will use it. More important than what they'll let you buy it making sure what you buy actually covers what you're going to use it for in the event of an accident. I have a commercial policy, but just PA minimum coverage, and my annual for the F550 and F250 is just over $400. I wouldn't be scared of getting a quote on commercial.

 

If you got the dollar$ they will sell you the insurance. No problem getting insured.
