Have A 00 Crew Cab Diesel With 49000 Miles Is It Common For The Fuel Lines To Be Replaced. I Started To Get A Really Heavy Diesel Smell And Looked Under The Truck And Saw Fuel Leaking Form Between The Motor And The Trans Anyone Else Have This Problem If So Let Me Know Thank You Joe

fuel lines
Had a '96 PS and noticed cracks in fuel lines feeding the fuel canister. Could be leaks. Get a flash light and check all the lines on top the engine behind the fuel canister. It takes a while for diesel to evaporate so if you spill fuel down onto the manifold when changing the filter, it will pool on top the manifold. The area where you saw it running down is where it would come out. There is a low spot on the intake manifold at the rear of it to allow for drainage.
