I have a 2012 6.7 and will be needing to replace my turbo soon, have been looking at the 15 retrofits what's the best set up for regular heavy towing and daily driving

Questions:

How many miles on the truck?

Why are you having to replace the turbo?

Are you using / planning on using a tuner?

If everything is stock, then a stock turbo for your year model would be best. If you've got a custom tuner, then the doors wide open.

178k miles, replacing it because I want more power and will be installing dual fueler soon. I'm currently running voodoo diesel sct tunes. I have seen people doing the 15 retrofit and changing the tune and having decent results

I would do a 65.5mm Streetmax and stroker cp4 pump for Midwest. That would be lots of fun.

+1 on the street max. Makes good power and sounds amazing. Still vgt which is the only style turbo I would consider. If he is running dual fuelers not sure he would need a stroker cp4 thou. Unless you mean to use that instead of duals?

He said he would be installing them. With duals, the sky would be the limit as far as turbo choices go. I take that back, the bottom end would be the limit
