2012 F150 w 6.2 i'm interested in

What should i look out for? Was this obviously a swap since the 6.2 isn't a factory option for the 150...or are there exceptions?

Would the tranny probably not be a good match for it?
(what model tranny should i look for and/or stay away from and where would i locate the numbers?)

Truck is in decent shape with 84,000 miles - Lariat crew w 6.5 bed which is hard enough to find. It drives great and the throaty 6.2 is a pleasure to hear.

Any help is appreciated - i'm probably overlooking other important factors.

The 6.2 was an option in the F150 for a few years. I know a couple guys that had them.

Thank you for knowing that.
You think the lighter 150 would help this 6.2 get more than nominal improvement in gas mileage over a 250?

The 6.2 was an option from 2011-2014 on different trim levels over the years.

The engine and transmission are about as bullet proof as one can get. Check it over as you would any used car/truck.

My 6.2 F-150 4x4 Limited is rated at 12 MPG city 13 MPG mixed and 16 MPG highway I can easily hit these numbers. I typically get 11-12 mpg commuting and running around town.

This being a 4x2 should beat that a mile or two.
Thanks

I was getting 15mpg in terrible commute traffic in a Raptor... thought that was phenomenal!
