I don't see too many regular cab owners starting to research and would like to see and hear what people are buying. Looking at the XLT in silver. Great options like BLIS, power fold mirrors, spots all avaliable on the reg cabs. Would love to see the LEDS headlights as an option.
Drove this XL the other day and was very impressed. Moving out of a 2015 F150 2.7L. Looking for the regular cab drove an F150 and it felt like a toy compared to the F250
XLT

dkj....thanks for the regular cab pics, do not see many on here for sure. I know what you mean about the LED lights and such. Ford treats R/C owners as if they have leprosy. No leather seats, no bucket seats, no trim above XLT, no power seats, cannot even get the XLT Premium package on an R/C. I am looking to order an XLT with more than several options. While I do not tow I carry weight in the bed which at times can be 3K+ pounds. once you move up from a light duty you will never be able to go back.
Hey, I have a RC. Coming from a CC, i like the RC. I bought mine off the dealer lot as I could not handle waiting for a truck to be built and delivered.
Mine is an well optioned XLT that has the 4.2" dash which is pretty nice. I have added the factory remote start, husky liners(orderd for an f150 and the almost fit perfect), Clazzio black leather seat covers (fit good except for the center seat), LED tailgate lightbar, Magnum headache rack and a tool box. I still need to order the factory bedliner.
I dont not have the BLIS or the Power fold mirrors.
The only thing that my truck dosent have that i whished it did are the upfitter switches and all black interior. I hated the multi-color dash in my 2011 superduty. This one isnt as bad, but i am going to by the parts to make it all black. Only thing that i cant get in black is the head liner.
Lastly, I wish it fit in my garage. Height wise, there isnt a snowballs chance in hell that this thing will fit in there. Oh well.

You'll miss the snap of the 2.7L engine. That truck is pretty much the quickest pickup on the market; easily dusts off all of our diesels and is a tenth quicker in the 1/4 mile then even the 3.5L EcoBoost. (Losing to the same 3.5EB by a tenth to 60 mph); it matches the GM 6.2L to 60 and 1/4 mile.
Otherwise, yes, the Super Duty feels more substantial, because it is.

Funny I customized my garage this year before I even planned on ordering a truck

I've always loved the look of the regular cab 4wd super duties. I'd have one in a second if the backseat wasn't a necessity with my daughter.
