Has anyone successfully seen data for the DPF related PID's on the 2017 SD?
I downloaded the plug-in, chose all the custom PID's that have 6.7L on the end related to the DPF, and the only two that works for me are the EGT post DPF, and DPF PSI (which never changes much from 1.2).
On my weekend hunting trip, I noticed a drop in MPH to 10.5, and noticed EGT post DPF >1100F.
I'm assuming this was a regen. After about 20 minutes, the mileage came back up to >17, and the EGT post DPF was ~550-600.
Yet, during this entire time the soot % didn't read anything, the Regen (yes/no) shows NO the whole time.
Since I didn't hand code these, but used the plug in, and since many of them work (including EGT post DPF) I'm thinking maybe the PID's in the plug-in don't all work for the 2017 SD?
That's exactly my experience with FORScan also. I also knew the truck was in regen by the EGT's but the regen indicator was showing OFF and SOOT % is always low. I just added a bunch more PIDs to the viewer to see if they read differently.
I have the same plugin for the PID's and have been able to see all the egt's work, I think there are 4 of them. but the % and yes/no don't see to work. I haven't had my torque pro running during a regen yet to watch the temps. wating on a mount so I can actually see the phone.
