Hey guys, I am a new member but not a new super duty owner.
i ordered my truck back in October and it came in last week. its a 350/CC/SRW/SB ultimate lariat diesel. I told the dealer to order it with the rear wheel well liners but they said they have to do that at the dealer and not at the factory. Can anybody attest to that? Am I screwed? I'm supposed to pick the truck up this week.
That is a simple thing to do. I think they cost $140 at the dealer installed. They should have been able to order them though. I'm not sure if they are ordered if they come installed when truck is delivered to dealer or if it is part of the dealer prep process like the boxlink stuff, maybe that is what the dealer meant....
My dealer offered me a "drive out package" or something to that effect that included tinting the front windows, drop in bed liner, and wheel well liners for 1200 dollars. I declined it, but I know you can order the wheel well liners as jdunk said. I plan to install mine, they look easy enough to put in.
Your dealer is a big fat liar, you absolutely can order the truck with the wheel well liners. That said they can be added but I wouldn't pay them one dime more than the order price.
I just ordered and installed the front and rear liners myself, they were $137 per pair, they are easy to install, do not have to take wheels off, the rear were easier to install than the fronts, they fit great.
