JDF I'm glad your truck finally came in! It looks beautiful. What a nice color combo on the interior and exterior. Agreed that the KR is not green at all inside.
As an interesting side note, our trucks are identical except I have the 20" tires, FX4 package, and a long bed. Our payload difference is 411 lbs.
I don't have the splash guards. I guess they weren't something I ordered. I want to get them though because mud kicks up on the running boards and it's annoying.
Thanks. I went with the 18's over the 20's for a couple of reasons. One I wanted a true 3.55 not the 3.32 that you end up with if you go with 20's and of course 18's are cheaper when it's time for replacements. I miss my long beds too but since I started getting crew cabs had to compromise and go with the 6.5 to 6.75 beds. The front splash guards cost me $130 extra, I don't know if they are any better than aftermarket ones but at least they match the rears. I live on a 800' long gravel lane and hate getting that muddy gravel dust on my truck. Since I got the power running boards I hope that they won't get so dirty as before.
Don't forget to stop into the 6.7 section now. There's always something to chat about there even if your 6.7 is running just fine!
Thanks, I will start going there again. When I had my previous 6.7 I was there but sure got tired of reading about jackhammering valves all of the time.
Guess I was lucky, mine never did that.
My truck made it to Texas on Sunday and finally hopped a ride on a truck to the dealership today. I was hoping that Rob's would beat mine but looks like it didn't.
'17 KR Caribou monotone with the chrome package. Toyo Open Country AT II's are on order as is a Pace Edwards Switchblade bedcover.
I only put about 20 miles on it so not much feedback to give yet other than the steering at slow speeds takes way more effort than previous SD's or my F150.
What else would a true Texas have but a King Ranch
Months ago some said they didn't like the interior because it looked green. It doesn't look green to me.
This truck has the 10K GVWR package so you will have to add 1500 lbs to get the true payload
Size difference between my '16 F150 and my '17 SD
Congratulations my friend. Since I couldn't be first I am aiming for last!LOL
That is a fine looking ride. Caribou was my second choice in colors (actually third but that's an obsolete story). And the King Ranch is pretty super. I just couldn't accept the extra length for my usage. Anyway, I am sure you will be out running up the miles and enjoying every minute of it, SO get out there and get going!!!

I about died when I see his payload sticker on a 350 is less than 2k pounds. But I guess that 10k package will do that to you...so you can still load it up, although no longer legally (not that anyone is checking, usually). Theoretically, the dealer could deny a warranty claim related to overloading the sticker rating as well, although I doubt they would.

Yeah, I did too...I didn't notice it had a 10K package, but that sure would explain it!
My payload is 411 less than his, but I was offsetting the fact that my truck is 11500 gvwr. So if I add 1500 pounds to his, then mine is 411 less. (Mine is 3050.)
JDF, I kind of wish I had got the 3.73s with the 20" tires. The gearing feels way too tall.

I think the only way to get a 3.73 was to get a DRW diesel or a gasser
