I'm looking at getting a F350 SRW with the 6 3/4 ft bed but I was wondering can I still get the 11,400 GVW?
Yes you can get it. However, if you are looking at getting it because you are in California, the laws changed on January 1, 2016 increasing the weight for a motor carrier permit to 26k when the motor trucks, which super duties are, is not used commercally. This makes the difference between11,400 and 11,500 irrelivant in California.
The standard GVWR is 11.5k. You can order 11.4 or 10k as a derate package. It's on paper only and the truck will be physically identical. Just curious why you want to de-rate?

I don't want to de rate, when I'm building my truck online it only gives me two options to choose from, 10k or 11.4. So I assume those were my only two options, I'd take the 11.5 if I can with the short bed.
I have a question about this; is the 16 different than the 17 in this scenario? Because a lot of 16 f350s I look at at dealer lots have an 11,200 gvw with the 6.2 engine. I haven't found any regular cab 6.2s with an 11.5 rating. I've only looked at a few though
Yep, gassers can go lower. 6.7's are all 11.5k unless de-rated AFAIK. Sorry, I automatically assume 6.7 4x4 when answering... I am a diesel snob I guess...LOL.
