Doing some calculations on different tire setups and proper inflation and I'ev stumbled onto some curiosity. My truck is the standard load (7200gvwr) package with the Ford 9.75 rear (2011MY). Disregarding all other factors and considerations since this is purely out of curiosity, what is the upper GAWR on a Ford 9.75 rear end? I know a lot of stuff comes into play on a vehicle to determine these numbers but I'm just curious what the rear end itself is capable of. I would also be curious where my weak points are in the GVWR and GAWR considerations; I found it interesting that using the load tables for LT Load E tires and the OE 108 index one would only need to inflate my current LT285/70r17 tires to 32psi to match the OE load capacity!
