A friend of mine bought my '97 Expy. It has had a few problems he wants to pay me to fix. One of them is the heat/ac blend door. Apparently it's a known weakness. I went with the "cut through the glove box" route instead of pulling the dash, AC, heater core, duct box, etc. Still a PITA.
Just got the new door in place and tested. Tomorrow I get to glue it all back together and seal it.

I think John fell asleep watching TV with his wife.
No I have been browsing the Bronco Graveyard to look at some parts Frances found for dressing up the engine but will be watching a show in about 10 minutes so my time here is very short tonight..
I tried to post this in a PM to you Rick but couldn't , this is a very old pic of when I built my place..
Some times the vacuum line for the ESOF will leak at the front hubs allowing the ESOF not to work.
Ah, your referring to the blend door I assume. The blend door on those is manipulated by a servo motor. The window/vent/floor control is vacuum. The hubs are not leaking. This was actually the bottom of the blend door where it couples to the servo. It is a common fail point.
