Need part #'s for rear spring bushings

I need the part numbers for the rear spring bushings. I have the flex-o-matic suspension so there is one bushing in front and 3 in the back on a F-100 1/2 ton long bed. Also if anyone has the actual diameter of the bushings, that would help too.

I measured them. They are all the same. About 1.38" in diameter. I e-mailed NPD just to verify which part # I need. Their website says: w/flexomatic 2 required, w/o flexomatic 8 required. Huh?

On pg 62 (12 edition catalog) it shows 2 bushings needed for the shackle, and 2 more needed in the spring eyelets. So you'll need a total of 8 for the entire rear end.

The ones NPD have uses 1/2" bolts but I need 5/8". Are the bolts 1/2" or 5/8" that are used on my Ford?

According to the post above Bill stated the Ford part number takes 5/8" bolts. You prolly ought to buy the Ford NOS ones where Bill posted who's got 'em.

I measured my bolts and they are 9/16". Will a 5/8" bushing be too much play in the hole of the bushing and cause problems?

Just to be certain; are you measuring the diameter of the bolt shaft, or is that the socket size for the head of the bolt? I'm not trying to say you do not know the difference, I'm just making sure everyone is talking apples to apples.

Steve, I bought bushings for my 67 f250from NPD and they worked great. Is there a discrepancy in what they have listed?

1969 F100 from serial number F70,001 & 1970/72 F100 bushings also have a 5/8" I.D. the NON Flex-o-matic bushings do have an I.D. of 9/16". Are your bushings I.D. 5/8" but the existing bolts 9/16" ?

I just measured the bolt while still on the truck. I will wait and measure the actual hole after I remove the springs, then report back.

Just got it apart today. The bolts are 9/16" that go into a 5/8" hole in the bushing. Kind of a loose fit but that is how they all are.
