1994 f250 460. its running rich and I'm not sure why. I have some ideas but that's it.
Trucks hard to start
Lost 3 mpg, now I'm down to 9-10 and it's killing my wallet lol
Sometimes when idling in gear, it will sound like it's missing and rpms drop and the cab shakes
I've already replaced the fuel pressure regulator. No check engine codes. Was thinking maybe a vacuum leak but I've no idea. Thoughts?
Vacuum leak sounds probable given all the old plastic lines going everywhere. Get a can of starter fluid, and start spraying them; a change in RPM will tell you where the leak is at. You might also clean and inspect the injectors. One that is stuck open will make it run rich.
Be lucky you don't get 5.8 MPG. I burned through a half tank of gas driving about 55 miles on the freeway the other day.

It weighs 10000 lbs. I drive it about 10 miles to school every day.
I used to ride my bike to work before I went back to college. It was a 60 mile commute each way, and I'd end up spending about 20 bucks each day. My school and old job are close to each other. So, if I was in the position where I had to ride the bike to class that same 60 mile commute, or drive the truck the 10 miles that I do; I'd be spending the same amount on gas either way. So, it's kind of a wash between my two transportation options.
