Tie rod ends

Well I got good brakes on the 1960 F600. Put some good military NDT 9.00-200 on the back and some new Power king 8.25-20 on the front. All lock ring now, no more rh-5° for me. The truck rides and handles great, but while mounting the front driver tire I noticed the tie rod.end is ready for retirement. Gonna do both end while I am under there. Google stinks for finding a part number. Any of you have a clue for the tie rod ends?

4,700 lbs. capacity front axle uses different tie rod ends than 6,000 lbs. capacity front axle.

Post the AXLE code stamped on the Rating Plate.

Thru 1969, if the AXLE code has only 2 digits, the truck has the standard equipment front axle.

1957/60 F600 came standard equipment with the 4,700 lbs. capacity front axle.

C1TZ-3A130-A (replaced C0TZ-3A130-A) .. Right Tie Rod End / Obsolete

MANDERBACH FORD in Temple PA has 1 = 610-929-3683.

NOS PARTS LTD in Waxahachie TX has 2 = 972-937-2201.

CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS in Concord NC has 14 = 800-476-9653.

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 19 = 800-543-4959.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
C1TZ-3A131-A (replaced C0TZ-3A131-A) .. Left Tie Rod End / Obsolete

MANDERBACH FORD has 1.

NOS PARTS LTD has 2.

CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS has 9.

Uh huh...
If it didn't make a difference, I wouldn't have asked.

1957/60 F600 with optional 6,000 lbs. capacity front axle:

B3TZ-3A130-A Right & B3TZ-3A131-A Left .. Tie Rod Ends / Obsolete

Thank you for the great information in this post. Could I use B3TZ-3A130-A Right & B3TZ-3A131-A Left for my 1969 F600? Below is my rating plate.

No.

3rd digit of the AXLE code refers to the front axle. B = 5,500 lbs. capacity.

1967/72 F500/750 with 5,500 lbs. capacity front axle:

C7TZ-3A130-D .. Right Tie Rod End / Obsolete

CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS in Concord NC has 9 = 800-476-9653.

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 34 = 800-543-4959.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
C7TZ-3A131-D .. Left Tie Rod End / Obsolete

GREEN SALES CO. has 7.

CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS has 15.

Hi Bill,
You have helped us with part numbers before, thank you, and we are in the weeds again.
If I understand this old post of yours, our truck, a '61 F600 with "64" as the axle code, would be the std. equip. axle of 4,700lbs and use these two PNs.
C1TZ-3A130-A (replaced C0TZ-3A130-A) .. Right Tie Rod End / Obsolete
C1TZ-3A131-A (replaced C0TZ-3A131-A) .. Left Tie Rod End / Obsolete
Just confirming that i understand that correctly before i try and find them?
Thank you, steve

You may be waiting a long time.

As I understand it, based on the notes in the Master Parts Catalog, the two digit axle code--in other words, no code for the front axle--means the standard axle, which is as you say for your truck, 4700 lbs.

thank you for replying. much appreciated.
i do not understand the 'waiting a long time' note?
if i have the 4,700lbs axle, then the C1TZ ... should be the ticket ... if i understand correctly.
sorry for the double checking. PNs are not my thing ...
thanks,
steve

What I mean by that is Numberdummy does not visit here as much as he used to.

I think you have it, now to see if you can find those parts. Good luck!
