ENABLE Hill Decent Control in 4x4 via FORScan

For those interested:
Today I successfully added Hill Descent Control to my nephew's 2015 F350 4x4 that normally comes with the Fx4. I added the combo Hill Descent/Traction control switch and found the changes needed to the ABS "As Built" module via FORScan and enabled it without any DTC's

Part # Needed:
SW-6777 Switch, Motorcraft
or
BC3Z-13D730-AA Switch, Ford

The switch is about $32.53 from tascaparts.com

ABS "As Built" Module:
760-01-01 xxxx xxxx 3xCx Hill Descent Control enabled
760-01-01 xxxx xxxx 2xBx Hill Descent Control disabled

disclaimer:
Make changes at your own risk. Always make a back up of your "As Built" data just in case you need to revert to factory settings.
.
.
Edit: Fixed Descent spelling

I can't never seem to get my HD to work.
Or, maybe it's just me.

You have to start out SLOW and it doesn't work above a ridiculously slow speed. I'd have to double check but it's something like 5 mph... I only used it once to help me not go off the side of a mountain while going down my daughter's friends 45 degree, snow/ice covered driveway. I actually slide backwards down it trying to go up it. Needed 4WD LOW to make it up. It's so steep that there are switchbacks in her driveway.

I am trying to do this to my 2013 f350 ccsb lariat 6.7 with trailer brake controller, my current line code is 760-01-01 9C3C 3600 29A0 and I have tried changing it to 9C3Z 3600 39B0, the truck takes it but the feature still does not work, is there something I am doing wrong? When I put the code in all I change is the 2 to a 3 and then forscan changes the A to a B. Thanks for the help.

Lucas2009, I replied to your post in the "FORScan and As-Built Data" thread.

I will come back and edit this post if your issue is resolved in the
"FORScan and As-Built Data" thread.

Wiring Needed

Great post! I am new to my 2015 F350 King Ranch, New to Fords in general, New to Forscan. Excited to start trying some of these mods myself. I found the switch on Tasha parts and still learning how to use FORSCAN--but do I also need a wiring harness or is the wire already there? DO you have any pictures or videos to install the switch. Thanks in advance!

Sorry for the late reply. No additional wiring is needed, it is plug-n-play.

I did not do any instructions or videos. There are a lot of videos on YouTube that show how to remove the center dash panel so you can swap out the switch.

Sorry guys, looks like I forgot to come back and edit this post.

When testing HDC operation be sure that the truck is running for the HDC switch to work.

I was hoping you would be the first to have HDC in a Dually. Wished I had a Dually so I could help you search for a solution.

As mentioned previously, I think it might be a different and unit and or calibration. I just haven't drilled into that much.
Maybe I'll check some calibration codes and part numbers.

Not sure if what you are asking. One the switch is installed you make the changes using ForScan. That's it.

Pardon my slowness--so is there one connector that i disconnect from the old traction control switch and reconnect to the new switch (with Traction and HDC). Or do i need to find a connector inside for HDC?
