I purchased the black door panels for my 52 from Dennis C. They dont have any lacing stitched around the out side edge. Is this the way they where and do I just screw them to the door? Anyone got any pics?
i parted out a 52 f2 and there where three metal "channels" they fit into if i remember correctly. i don't think all trucks had interior trim on the doors. my 51 f2 doesn't appear to have had them.
Thanks guys. I have had my truck 11 years now and been to tons of shows and on here all the time and have never seen them on a truck. I guess I would need to make the top piece. The track for the the bottom panel could maybe be wall tile edging. Have to pop into a store and have a look.
There is more to the upper panel as well. There is a lip to hang the panel on and a bracket to bolt the arm rest to. I suppose that if you didn't want the arm rest, you could fasten an upper panel with trim screws.
I bought and installed all of the parts off ebay to convert my truck to 5 star plus.
