Rear camera...

So after many months of waiting, and now driving my 17 f350 for a month now, i have a few questions that not even the dealer can find help with (they have been working with a ford rep on this) my mileage stinks with the 6.7 im getting 9mpg adv.. I now have 1000 miles and its gone into regen 4-5 times.. i upfitted the truck with a aluminum body with led lights and the signals flash fine, but on the dash they flash fast like a bulb is out..(ford tech flashed the computer to configure leds, and it didnt work) i ordered the truck with manual regen. And no one knows how it works.... also my rear backup camera does not show how close you are to things behind you! Also has ford stumped...(ford sent the dealer some sort of module but the tech doesnt think it will fix it). all i get is the truck is new and we are all learning from it... can anyone offer any advice? I didnt spend all this money for no one to know anything about it... i love it otherwise. I read on another post that people didnt like how hard it is to move the shifter,i agree on that, i plowed snow the other night with it,and it took way to much force to change gears, but i will get used to that im sure..thanks everyone..

Your post confuses me a bit but what I can make out of it. I get 16.5 mpg on highway with truck not broken in.

The flashing led might be due to power being supplied as led need constant power and don't work well with dimmers. Maybe the voltage regulator is not 100% efficient? On a dimmer led can flicker fast due to the design of bulbs.

The backup camera does show how close you are and has guide lines for distance as well is gives audio if you have the added sensors. With camera alone I can get within 4" comfortably of an object.

So the way it sounds you have a f350 cab chassis. My first question is what rear end do you have? I have a f550 with the 4.88 and I am averaging 9.6... Not quite what I had hoped for but not completely unexpected.

The company that upfit my truck had a few issues with wiring but I think it was more on their end than the truck's fault.

I have about 1200 miles on my 550 and it just went into regen for the first time the last time I drove it. You might have an issue there and it might explain your fuel mileage.

My camera doesn't show how close I am to things either. I think that is the way it is with the cab chassis trucks.
