Motor mount help

Guys,

I have a'97 F350 plow truck I am working on. It's got the 460 in it. My problem is, one of the motor mount plates (engine support plate as Ford calls it) has a broken bolt in it and I cannot seem to get it out. Where on earth can I get another one? I haven't been able to locate one any where. Does anybody have any ideas?

Thank you all for your help.

Bolt the whole shooting match on the "bay" as a complete set.

That's the issue. I can't find one anywhere short of buying a parts engine.

If they are the same as an 85 I have two of them right here within 15' of me.. That's the plate that bolts to the block and the mount bolts to it?

wdfp,

I don't know if they are the same. I am assuming so. I haven't found much info on them at all. Can you send or post a photo of them?

Thank you.

wdfp,

Thank you for your help. I didn't see any emails come in. I dropped off the motor mount plate to a machine shop and he was able to get the broken bolt out. I would hang on to the plates because it does seem like they are pretty hard to find. Thanks again for all your help.

Maybe you had an old address on here or something. It looked like they took the same motor mounts so I think the plates would be the same. I'll just put them in the garage or something for now thanks.

The following supports bolt to the frame rails, the steel/rubber insulators bolt to the engine block, then to the supports.

These supports are right and left specific.

1983/97 F250/350 2WD/4WD 7.5L (460):

E3TZ-6028-C .. Right (Passenger) Side Engine Support / Obsolete

USD INC. in Phoenix AZ has 1 = 602-258-1900.
------------------------------------------------------
E8TZ-6029-B (replaced E3TZ-6029-C) .. Left (Drivers) Side Engine Support / Obsolete

No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has E8TZ-6029-B

E3TZ-6029-C =

CARTWRIGHT FORD in Booneville MS has 1 = 662-728-5381.

Thank you all for the help. I got the plates and rubber isolators mounted to the engine, and the engine in the truck. There is an end in sight.
