Motor mount confusion
Hello,
I have a 1983 F350. It had a 351W. The motors no good so I decided to swap in a 460. I found a nice motor and trany in a 1982 E350 camper. I didn’t want to use motor mount adapters so I found some 460 motor mount perches at the junk yard and bought some 460 motor mounts for a 83 F350.
This is where I’m running into some problems. The 460 block doesn’t seem to have the right bolt pattern for the mounts I just got. I know there the right mounts for the F350, but am I missing something because it came out of an E350? I can’t even line up two hoes with the block.
Could someone post a picture of a F350, 460 motor mount properly installed? I can only assume I’m missing some parts (I hope!)
