Rear Driveshaft Options
I've got a 2003 F250, Extra Cab, 4X4 with the 142" wheelbase. I had a catastrophic failure in the rear ujoint, which destroyed the yoke on the rear housing. Ford says they don't make it anymore. Having problems finding one in a salvage yard. Is there a direct swap, driveshaft and all, off of a later model that anybody knows of?

We have a place called sunny's driveline here in Knoxville TN. It's well known for building replacement driveshafts, and I've had them build one for a jeep and another for a bronco. Surely you have a shop somewhere near you that builds driveshafts.

There is a driveshaft shop in Shreveport. They turned up on a Google search.

Went there this morning. Picked up what MIGHT be a replacement yoke. It appears that spicer no longer makes the part number. I've got an email in to Spicer to find out what, if any, is a direct replacement for the part.
