So KOEO I get 111 and it had nothing in continuous memory.
Did the KOER (yes I took it around the block a few times so engine was warm before starting the test, and again stumbled to get going since was a warm start) threw at me those 3 codes. 411 (which is making me think IAC now) and 538 & 632 which were my fault.
Its raining now or I would be pulling the IAC to clean and test (I still have a link bookmarked on how to do so properly) I did look to be sure the PO did not replace or clean and it looks to be OEM so it probably needs it. That and check for vacuum leaks.
Hoping that fixes this warm start thing. Its dumbfounding that it has no issues when hot or cold but only warm.
We will find out tomorrow hopefully. If weather permits since I am off work this week for Turkey day I am going to pull and test and clean the IAC. Worse case I will mess with it this weekend.
It could potentially be the IAC valve, it might be stuck.
IAC electrically tested good. Carbon fouled in the valve part so took it apart and cleaned it with carb cleaner. It's doing better for sure already but still having issues and have to feather it just not as much.
May retake it off and clean it real real good since there was still some carbon build up left. Or I may go borrow the one off the F350 since it has a blown head gasket right now. I may just soak the valve part in cleaner overnight its caked on there good. Had the air compressor cranked as high a pressure as it would go.
I've never really had much luck with cleaning IAC valves - just replacing them.
I am already ahead of you. I ordered a motorcraft IAC off amazon was $58 shipped with tax about an hour ago. I got this bronco running pretty good outside of this warm start issue. Still a few things to do on the drivetrain such as drop the tranny pan and install this 4R70W tranny pan and filter I bought as well as add the external tranny cooler and filter kit I have ready to put on.
Considering my F350 is dead at the moment with a blown head gasket, this other bronco I just bought needs a tune up and suspension gone through. This truck is my baby at the moment. Been putting more miles on it than my 2012 F150 as of the last month or so.
