Needing a GEM module ASAP

I have a 2000 Excursion 7.3 diesel. Ford has discontinued the GEM module and I can not locate a replacement. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Original part number yc3z-14b205-CA
or replacement part number yc3z-14b205-CB

I have found the part with only the last letter being different? (CF, CE) Must these letters match exact?? The description says it is for 2000 Excursion???

These ebay sellers have listed the ID engineering numbers (YC3T-14B205-CE & YC3T-14B205-CF) marked on the module, these are not the Ford part numbers!

Look at your module, see if its ID engineering number matches one of the above.

YC3Z-14B205-CB (replaced YC3Z-14B205-CA) .. GEM Module / Obsolete / Last MSRP: $621.49 ~ Dealer net cost: $279.67

HIGH BUCK! BOB ALLEN FORD in Overland Park KS has 1 = 913-381-2999 / Be prepared for sticker shock, this snake wants MEGA-BUCKS for obsolete parts.

No other Ford dealer, no obsolete parts vendor has any.

Might be salvage yard time, or send yours off to someone that can repair it. At least you are in the right state to easily find them in salvage. I see them being parted out on C-list often here in Central Texas after being totaled.

If you call Bob Allen Ford, there is no telling what condition the part you buy will be in. I have heard horror stories from other dealers getting used parts being sold as new. Just FYI

The only time I called them, was about 10 years ago. I needed a companion flange for a pals 1963 Falcon. The last MSRP was $22.82, "Snake" Allen wanted $250.00!

I called around, found one at a truck parts dealer in the City of Industry for 20 bucks.
