82 F250 - air cleaner intake tube?

I apologize if this has been asked previously. This is only my 2nd Ford, and my first since I was 16/17. I searched the forums and couldn't tell if the previous posts about this topic provided info that matched what I need.

My 82 F250 has a 400 V8, regular emissions. There is a 2 piece plastic air intake tube that goes from the radiator support to the air cleaner snorkle. The flexible piece of that air intake tube needs to be replaced. From what I read, I think that the 2 pieces may only be sold as an assembly, but I'm not sure. LMC Truck lists 2 different parts:

43-3575 is a 12 inch piece
43-3579 is a 25 1/2 inch piece

The flexible part I need is about 12 inches long, so I thought the first part listed might be what I need, but I honestly have no idea. Does anyone know?

It doesn't look like the LMC part has the piece that attaches to the radiator support. I can't remember on my 80, is that where yours separates?

Yes, the piece that attaches to the radiator support separates from the flexible tube. I only need the flexible tube.

Bill, you are a wealth of knowledge. Thank you for all of your help.

In looking at that graphic, it looks different than what's on my truck, or I'm reading the graphic incorrectly. On my truck, the part that attaches to the radiator support looks like 9A624. The flex hose attaches to that part on one end, and to the snorkle of the air cleaner on the other end...at least, it would if it hadn't dryrotted and fallen apart. The graphic looks like the flex tube attaches to the actual body of the air cleaner. Is that correct? Or am I looking at it wrong?

9A624 air cleaner air intake tube attaches to the radiator support on one end, to 9A626 on the other end.

9A626 duct & valve assembly attaches to 9B676 air cleaner duct & valve adapter that's riveted to the air cleaner.

OK. To make sure I understand, or to prove that I'm a moron (whichever the case may be), the duct and valve assembly (red arrow) attaches to the adapter (red arrow), and the end of the flex tube (green arrow) attaches to the rigid plastic intake duct (green arrow). So the graphic was created with the position of the duct/valve assembly and the flex tube flipped in the opposite direction of how they actually are when viewed from standing in front of the truck, looking at the engine? Did I get it right?

Let me try to attach this pic...

You are The Man!

And how nice of them to draw up the graphic that way, to confuse all of the Simpletons like me.

The way numbers posted is right you need to swap the red and Green arrows on the flex tubing around. Then the 2 red arrows and the 2 green arrows match up as the drawing shows follow the "S" line from the upper part in the picture to the lower one.

Thank you everyone for helping out this newbie. Using the graphic posted from Gary's Garagemahal, I added a red arrow to the part that I need. Looks like it's 9C675? Bill, any luck with one of those being out there somewhere? Or does anyone else know if either of the LMC Trucks parts are correct? 9C675 is 2 pieces, but only sold OEM as an assembly, I believe.
