I looking at going to Toyo 37x12.5r20 mt tires too. How are you reprograming your speedo, odometer and correction transmission shift points?
Ford computer does not go larger than 275/65r20...the largest tire size they offer (which is what's currently on my truck). I'm worried about the 37's in transmission shift points, speedo, odometer, navigation, etc. if it can not be reprogrammed. The 37's cause a 7.5% error.
What did you guys do?
Since you cant enter a larger tire size in Ford computer than the 275/65r20, luckily I have 3.55 rear end...can Ford dealer re-flash computer to 3.31 rear end?
This would correct all but about 0.5% error which is close enough.
Mine was programmed by the dealer when I got it. Speedo is dead on. When you drive it, you don't even feel like you're driving on 37s. I can pull my Forscan data if you want.
I have 37x12.5 x20 Nitto Ridge Grappler with the 4” block
looks perfect. It helps to see everyone's pictures. I guess I'm getting the 4" rear block. Do you notice any loss of power on 37s? I see alot of posts where people complain that 37s are noticeably sluggish over a 35.
I did not feel that the truck lost any power or acceleration in the butt dyno. It did lose 1-2 MPG in fuel economy. I don't tow real heavy, just our 8.5x20 enclosed trailer with quads and camping gear.
2.5 Inch Readylift. Wheels are 20x10 -18 Offset Tires are 37x12.5x20. I have a little rub.
it's amazing how much these trucks vary, there's a YouTube video of the same setup with 2.5 " ready lift and 37s on stock the truck sits like it has 35s.
