Speed bleeders leaking

Decided to flush the fluid on my 2002 F250. After several attempts to build an adapter for my Motive Power Bleeder, the hose on the bleeder ended up leaking (it is 10 years old I guess...) so I gave up on that.
Went to the local auto parts store and picked up two packages of Dorman speed bleeders, part 12706. Installed all four corners, pushed fluid through and refilled a couple of times to ensure clear fluid all around.

Fired up the truck to go for a test drive and my foot went to the floor. Huh? Repeated a couple of times, puzzled, then stopped the truck.
Came out to find a pool of fluid at both front corners and a nearly empty master cylinder reservoir.

I checked the parts this morning. Ford lists the same part front and rear, 2208.
The Dorman spec listed is M10-1.0 X 33mm.

Other than having defective parts, or the front screws being different, I can't imagine why this is leaking.

Some of the reviews on amazon suggest defective parts:

I was assuming the Dorman stuff is just repackaged Russell bleeders. Is that not the case?

I always wondered about those speed bleeders. Sorry you found out the hard way. I hope you did not get any air into the anti-lock brake system.

did you tighten the bleeder screws after you bleed the brakes? I have had problems with the Russell speed bleeders that did not keep air out during the bleeding process, the check valve didn't seal well, but never after they were tightened down. The Dormans I have no knowledge of although Dorman quality is on and off at best. I would fix your Motive Power bleeder and use that instead a new hose and the proper adapter and your good to go.

Dug out the original bleeders and reinstalled, need to get more fluid and redo it (and maybe order the Motive again or repair it). Thx.

just repair your bleeder no need to replace with a complete new one unless the tank is damaged.
