Glue removal?

I cut the wood grain out, I was bored of that look. I,m only going to use the outside part. Paint it with some chrome paint. Then paint the door to match my truck, which is dark green.

I like the 3M stuff when trying to save the paint.
I don't think the paint matters in your case... some paint stripper would take care of it. I like to goop it up heavy with aircraft stripper then wrap in plastic for an hour or so to keep the fumes in and material moist.
