I've read that historically, white has always been the #1 color in the U.S.. Silver was normally #2, followed by black. At this point, black seems to be taking #2 in this survey followed closely by silver.
Who chooses these colors at Ford? Race red is a horrid shade of red. Black, white, silver boring. A truck this nice at this price deserves some better color choices. I would have been all over Grabber Blue.

Ford replaced Vermillion Red with Race Red recently. Vermillion was around for 30 years or more. It was a darker true red than Race Red which has an orange base.
So I ordered and voted for black. But I called my dealer and was able to change the order to Magnetic before it was pulled by the factory. The more I looked at that color the more I started to really like it.

Yeah the metallic is what got me. I didn't realize at first the black is not metallic anymore. My wife has an Expedition in Tuxedo Black (which IS metallic) and the chrome package and I like that. I'm glad you like the Magnetic. Now it's a waiting game.

Same deal here my 2014 f 250 is tuxedo black and i really like it that's why i went black at first then found out it's not metallic.
Anyway to break out Oxford vs. White Platinum. I went White Platinum/caribou accent on my King Ranch. Just think the white trucks look much better with the accent than the darker colors. IMHO of course.
Just saw a KR white Platinum/Caribou at the dealer yesterday and I agree the lighter colors look good with the KR two-tone but I can't do a white truck...Darker ones look pretty bad, that's why I went with a Blue Jeans KR with the chrome package and monotone paint
