80 sheets of 3/8 OSB (1 full forklift lift plus more sheets under it)
i haven't done the math on the whight yet but surprisingly it didn't max out the suspension on my F350, and no damage to the aluminum bed! The fifth wheel prep kit and the spray in bedliner probably helped tho
Math says 3072 LB or 1.4 m-tons but something tells me it was heavier than that!
im re-roofing a large house, removing cedar shake and installing osb then shingling it, shake roofs arnt always sheeted, this one is 1x6's every 10 inches or so
Did you seriously expect this to hurt anything? It's a pickup truck...this is what they're built for. The aluminum vs. steel thing is way overplayed IMHO.
If you're not dumping landscape block from 6 feet above the bed, or trying to puncture with sharp-edged metal boxes, that ad just doesn't apply.
