In a way wer all spoiled with technology, but it can be frustrating as well. I was quite content with end of year delivery, as that time frame was what I been used to, then salesman sez early ETA, ya get all jacked up, then delays start, n we get disappointed. Frustrating, but I would rather be delayed than be delivered a vehicle with issues, jus hope when I get it, it"s right. Hope urs is as well.
Great point on the spoiling from the technology...that is me exactly. I am bombarded with updated information on a day to day basis, and now I expect it! Too bad it isn't happening with the truck.
I agree with it being delayed vice showing up with issues as well. Maybe they are putting in that "job 2" console with the USB ports that were on this forum not too long back. I would love to have more charging ports. (I just put a USB charger in the 12V outlet anyway)
I'll say this though...what is really frustrating me is the fact that nobody can give me an updated ETA on my truck. It was the 10th of November, yet it still shows "released to body", which I assume is for the spray in liner as was said earlier. The problem was that happened on the 20th of October. I just want an update, that's it! Every person I talk to says they have emails into the "higher ups"...sure thing...I'll just wait longer.
I just hope I don't do anything rash, like cancel my order...I just want a little update, and if I don't get it soon I may cry...
ETIS on our 2017 F250 SuperCab 4x4 longbed still shows a build date of 30.11.0002. Our dealer has advised us that its born date should be this week. Will the build date currently shown @ ETIS be changed when it is actually built, & will ETIS show an anticipated ETA? If not, then is there another link to find out that info ---- not that we don't trust our dealer but this Forum has been so much more informative than anyplace or anyone else?
That must be the day Ford builds SuperCabs. Mine on ETIS shows the same build date of 30.11.0002.
