05 Excursion / Goodridge Brake Lines
Doing the brakes, among many other things, on a new to me, stock height, 2005 Excursion.
I chose the Power Stop KC1906A-36 (Calipers, Rotors, Pads kit). As my rear calipers are sticking and the current rotors are shot.
Im not looking to start a "this company / line is good, better, best...." I've read that a lot of you are using Russell or other lines and have mixed results. You go girl!, lol.
While I don't have an opinion or experience with very many others...I'm a huge fan of Goodridge - I have used them for years on all my vehicles, including motorcycles and without a doubt, will be using on the Excursion.
They have a readily available and easy to find 3 line kit. (2) Front and (1) Rear (Frame to ' T ' Block).
I've searched high and low for pre-assembled ' T ' Block to rear caliper lines and simply can't find adequate information.
I've emailed with Goodridge (no response), Cary (From this site - didn't know and has his own kit), Power Stop (no information available).
My questions are:
Anyone know the Goodridge ' T ' Block to rear calipers part numbers?
If not, how about a direct US contact for Goodridge?
Goodridge has a 5-line kit for the 05 F250. Same Same, but diffeeerrrreeeent?(The Interview reference, lol).
For those of you who have done the 05-07 brake swap...Can you shed some light on: Hose diameter, length, banjo bolt / block size, pre-formed end different?
Or "Yes, it simply will work"
Last resort- has anyone built their own lines from Goodridge for my application and are willing to share part numbers and or specs?
I appreciate any and all input!
I'll be taking lots of pictures and will post, as I'm doing bilstein 4600 shocks (from Cary - will do the F/R mods and 5100's next time), Mevotech (Green) U & L Ball joints, some poly bushings etc very soon.
Thanks!
