I'm trying to cure some brake fade issues on the Ex. I checked pads and rotors and they are good. Bled the brakes and that didn't help. My next step is stainless lines all the way around. Based on searches here everyone seems to like Russell lines. The issue I have is that according to their website they only make a kit for 4" lift. Will this kit fit my stock height truck? Thanks

If the brakes are actually fading (i.e. get mushy after some hard braking) the usual culprit is air in the system, old brake fluid or pads that are not of the right spec.
With that said, braided lines are one of the best upgrades.

Yeah I used the word fading because I couldn't think of anything better. The issue is a mushy pedal on hard stops. Seems like brake lines are the most likely culprit to me.

Get the Russell lines and fresh fluid, you will be impressed.
