i'd like to do the rear hanger flip on the back of my truck, i plan on putting a posi in, and was wondering how is traction with the axle flip? can i still use something like a slapper bar if i need it. granted my motor isn't probly pushing past 300hp i was just curious how they hook.
/|\ about there would be the intent, i thought it was just a simple as flipping the front hanger up side down. How much would just a smaller profile tire do for lowering, i'm sitting with 30x9.50r15 right now

For every 2 inches of tire size you lose 1 inch of height. So a 30 to a 28, only going down 1 inch. This will also mess with your final drive gear ratio meaning, less top speed.

The 275/60-15s above are 28.7 inches tall... But it won't have that "tucked up" look. The truck will sit about 1.5 inches lower but all ya got is more of a gap between the tire and fender
Here's my truck, post axle flip, with your tire size all the way around... the nose is like 0.75 inches higher than the rear. I 'fixed it' with slightly lower profile in the front.
Granted theres some body rot above the tires but i think i have like a 1" gap. my tires are on 8" rims so i guess that would stretch them wider and make them less tall than yours.
